Proceeding contribution from Derek Wyatt (Labour) in the House of Commons on Monday, 23 June 2008. It occurred during Ministerial statement on Zimbabwe Elections.
Zimbabwe Elections
Could my right hon. Friend reassure me that there will be no shady deals when Mugabe goes, and that he will be brought to court wherever he may go? I am struggling to know the answer to this question, but would it not be possible to start an exile Government—perhaps in South Africa, given that there are 2 million to 3 million Zimbabweans there—and would he raise that point with Mbeki when he sees him in two weeks' time?
