Proceeding contribution from Lord Rooker (Labour) in the House of Lords on Monday, 30 June 2008. It occurred during Debates on delegated legislation on Sexual Offences (Northern Ireland) Order 2008.
Sexual Offences (Northern Ireland) Order 2008
My Lords, I do not know whether it is going to be in due course. There is no time set for devolution—that is the whole point—and because of that we are carrying on the process that we are duty-bound to follow, following the consultation. There is obviously considerable interest in the issue relating to the age of consent.
