Proceeding contribution from Lord West of Spithead (Labour) in the House of Lords on Tuesday, 10 March 2009. It occurred during Committee of the Whole House (HL) and Debate on bill on Borders, Citizenship and Immigration Bill [HL].
Borders, Citizenship and Immigration Bill [HL]
The Box has given me some advice that I find difficult to follow. It says: "Add Amendment 29—that is the new section". I thought that this was technical but clearly there is much more complexity to it. I will find out exactly what the position is and get back to the noble Lord. Perhaps it is just a simple matter. I hope it is. Amendment 118 agreed.
