Proceeding contribution from Lord Wallace of Saltaire (Liberal Democrat) in the House of Lords on Thursday, 12 March 2009. It occurred during Committee of the Whole House (HL) and Debate on bill on House of Lords (Members' Taxation Status) Bill [HL].
House of Lords (Members’ Taxation Status) Bill [HL]
The noble Lord is now in his 20th minute. He was in his 10th minute when he first mentioned the amendment. I think that we can all recognise an attempt to delay proceedings that is very close to being an abuse of the House in a Committee debate. I ask him to draw his remarks to a close.
