Proceeding contribution from Lord Patel of Bradford (Labour) in the House of Lords on Wednesday, 29 April 2009. It occurred during Debate on bill on Local Democracy, Economic Development and Construction Bill [HL].

Local Democracy, Economic Development and Construction Bill [HL]

My Lords, in my excitement at being potentially entered into the Guinness book of records, I forgot to speak briefly to Amendment 149, which makes a minor technical change to Schedule 4 to the Bill. In making the necessary name change amendments to paragraphs 9 and 10 of Schedule 4, we noticed that a consequential amendment also needs to ensure that the cross-references in Schedule 1 to the Greater London Authority Act 1999 are correct. I beg to move. Amendment 2 agreed.
