Humberside Probation Service
I congratulate my right hon. Friend on securing this important debate. Many people affected by the cuts have also come to see me, as has Alan Cotterill, the National Association of Probation Officers representative in our area. Every person who has come to see me about the cuts has said that it is the speed at which they are being made that is so frightening. It seems that no other service in the country is making cuts in quite as headlong a way as Humberside is.
