Clause 27: Special introductory provision Amendment 62 62: Clause 27, page 17, line 4, at end insert— "(1A) The requirements under section 7(1) or 10(7) to hold a ballot do not apply in relation to a BRS imposed by the Greater London Authority for the purpose of raising money for expenditure on a project where— (a) the project begins before the commencement of section 1; and (b) the chargeable period of the BRS begins on or before 1st April 2011. (1B) Where a BRS is, or is proposed to be, varied, the reference in subsection (1A) to the BRS includes a reference to the BRS as varied or proposed to be varied." Amendment 62 agreed. Clause 27, as amended, agreed. Clause 28 agreed. Clause 29 : Regulations etc Amendments 63 to 66A not moved.
