Proceeding contribution from Lord Deben (Conservative) in the House of Commons on Tuesday, 19 May 2009. It occurred during Debate on bill on Policing and Crime Bill.
Policing and Crime Bill
It is likely that the Suffolk Coastal district council would not have need for any of these applications, but I commend the Government for their way at looking at these things. I wish they would extend that to many other topics, but in this case I hope the Minister will rebuff those who want to be more universal. His position would be accepted and welcomed.
