Proceeding contribution from Baroness Smith of Malvern (Labour) in the House of Commons on Tuesday, 2 June 2009. It occurred during Debate on bill on Borders, Citizenship and Immigration Bill [Lords].
Borders, Citizenship and Immigration Bill [Lords]
These are firm measures, but they are fair. They get the balance right, and they have at their heart our commitment to deliver an immigration system that works in the interests of Britain and British citizens. I commend the Bill to the House.
