Proceeding contribution from Earl Howe (Conservative) in the House of Lords on Monday, 8 June 2009. It occurred during Debates on delegated legislation on Medicines for Human Use (Miscellaneous Amendments) Regulations 2009.

Medicines for Human Use (Miscellaneous Amendments) Regulations 2009

The Minister has covered a great deal of ground in his reply, for which I am grateful, conscious as I am that I ranged rather widely in my questions to him. I found his answers reassuring and thank him for that. I congratulate the many scientists and officials involved in planning the measures that are needed to combat what is undoubtedly a serious public health threat. I have no doubt that we shall return to this issue periodically—I hope not at such length. Motion agreed.
