Proceeding contribution from Shahid Malik (Labour) in the House of Commons on Tuesday, 9 June 2009. It occurred during Adjournment debate on Council Tax Capping (Surrey).
Council Tax Capping (Surrey)
It is not for me, nor for anybody in this Chamber, to tell the authority what it should do to live within its cap. However, I note that its papers show that it will have reserves of £9.4 million by the end of 2009-10.
