Proceeding contribution from Lord Austin of Dudley (Labour) in the House of Commons on Tuesday, 30 June 2009. It occurred during Adjournment debate on Repossession and Mortgage Arrears.

Repossession and Mortgage Arrears

As I said earlier, we are talking to all the participants in the scheme to see whether we can accelerate it. I can now respond to the hon. Member for Twickenham. The number of families that have received help at the final stage has increased from two to six. There were four completions in May, which shows that the impact of the scheme is accelerating.
