Proceeding contribution from Laurence Robertson (Conservative) in the House of Commons on Wednesday, 15 July 2009. It occurred during Adjournment debate on Abortion Law (Northern Ireland).

Abortion Law (Northern Ireland)

I always look forward to hearing the Minister, so I will bring my speech to an end. The hon. Member for Mid-Bedfordshire (Nadine Dorries) makes another powerful point. Conservative Front Benchers believe that the matter should be left to the Assembly. My personal view is that we should be tightening up the abortion law in Great Britain and not going the other way.
