Proceeding contribution from Baroness Perry of Southwark (Conservative) in the House of Lords on Wednesday, 14 October 2009. It occurred during Committee of the Whole House (HL) and Debate on bill on Apprenticeships, Skills, Children and Learning Bill.

Apprenticeships, Skills, Children and Learning Bill

I am extremely grateful to the Minister and to noble Lords, including my own Front Bench, and to the noble Baroness, Lady Howe, for their support. I hope very much that I am wrong and that the Minister’s officials are right and that this is not a necessary amendment. In that case, I beg leave to withdraw the amendment. Amendment 196 withdrawn. Clause 86 agreed. Clause 87 : Sections 85 and 86: supplementary Amendment 197 not moved. Debate on whether Clause 87 should stand part of the Bill.
