Proceeding contribution from Nick Ainger (Labour) in the House of Commons on Wednesday, 14 October 2009. It occurred during Debates on delegated legislation on National Assembly for Wales (Legislative Competence) (Welsh Language).

National Assembly for Wales (Legislative Competence) (Welsh Language)

In previous discussions, I have raised the issue of small post offices and the burden that could be placed on them, particularly in areas where Welsh is not spoken by many members of the population, as in parts of my constituency. Does what the Secretary of State has said mean that all sub-post offices in Wales will have to be able to provide a service through the medium of Welsh?
