Proceeding contribution from Lord Hain (Labour) in the House of Commons on Wednesday, 14 October 2009. It occurred during Debates on delegated legislation on National Assembly for Wales (Legislative Competence) (Welsh Language).

I was taking advice while my hon. Friend was asking me that question. Postal services are caught by the order, as indeed they are by the existing Act. Small sub-post offices are included in the LCO but the duties imposed upon them will be subject to the test of reasonableness, which I think would meet my hon. Friend’s legitimate concerns.
