Proceeding contribution from David Drew (Labour) in the House of Commons on Thursday, 5 November 2009. It occurred during Debate on Climate Change.
Climate Change
Does my hon. Friend accept that there is an onus on individual households, perhaps working in communities, to take initiatives to mitigate the worst aspects of flooding? It has been disappointing to see the low take-up of measures introduced for that purpose. Government must pay attention to that, because flooding is key feature of climate change.
