Proceeding contribution from Cheryl Gillan (Conservative) in the House of Commons on Wednesday, 14 October 2009. It occurred during Debates on delegated legislation on National Assembly for Wales (Legislative Competence) (Welsh Language).

National Assembly for Wales (Legislative Competence) (Welsh Language)

I shall read the passage again: ““In tandem with our ongoing work on the Welsh language we have been preparing for the Welsh language Measure, which was announced...The Welsh Assembly Government looks forward to publishing the...Measure as soon as the National Assembly has the necessary competence””. The work is ongoing in the Assembly, so there is no reason why a draft document could not be provided. Anyway, I think that we have exhausted that point.
