Proceeding contribution from Alun Michael (Labour) in the House of Commons on Wednesday, 14 October 2009. It occurred during Debates on delegated legislation on National Assembly for Wales (Legislative Competence) (Welsh Language).
National Assembly for Wales (Legislative Competence) (Welsh Language)
May I draw the hon. Gentleman’s attention to a note that was privileged by the CBI during August? I think that it had listened to the very point that he made. It argued for ““the Welsh Assembly Government to use its significant resources to create the business case for using Welsh””, including ““the use of Welsh by consumers, giving the skills and training to individuals to have the confidence to use the Welsh language in a formal setting.”” It appears that his point has been listened to.
