Child Poverty Bill

I thank the Minister for the question. As he knows, the actual figures are subject to—what is the word?—huge variation, depending on various assumptions about equivalisation, measurement and so on. Personally, I would not stick on any one particular and absolute figure, although I accept the argument that we need a figure. We have accepted 60 per cent, as we have discussed in earlier amendments, but if we need to move it around in order to protect particular groups of children, it need not be totally sacrosanct.
