Proceeding contribution from Kevin Barron (Labour) in the House of Commons on Wednesday, 10 March 2010. It occurred during Estimates day on Alcohol.
Alcohol
I did not talk about advertising in my speech, but I received an email today related to that issue. It states:""The Committee expressed concerns about "gaps" in the regulation of digital marketing during your investigations. I wanted to let you know that this week the Advertising Association has finalised a set of proposals to shut this regulatory loophole, extending the Advertising Standards Authority's remit."" So things are happening in that area because of the report.
