148: Clause 86, page 50, line 13, at end insert— "(2) The Secretary of State may by order make transitional, transitory or saving provision in connection with the coming into force of paragraph 4 of Schedule 15 (which reduces from 30 years to 20 years the period at the end of which a record becomes a historical record for the purposes of Part 6 of the Freedom of Information Act 2000). (3) An order under subsection (2) may in particular— (a) make provision about the time when any records are to become historical records for the purposes of Part 6 of the Freedom of Information Act 2000, and (b) make different provision in relation to records of different descriptions. (4) An order under subsection (2) is to be made by statutory instrument. (5) A statutory instrument containing an order under subsection (2) is subject to annulment in pursuance of a resolution of either House of Parliament."
