Proceeding contribution from Evan Harris (Liberal Democrat) in the House of Commons on Thursday, 8 April 2010. It occurred during Debate on bill on Constitutional Reform and Governance Bill.
Constitutional Reform and Governance Bill
Will the Minister explain whether "could not achieve it" means just that the Conservatives did not want it? As I understand it, the Minister said that a deal has to be done and they have a veto. Will he explain that in each case, because they probably would want to know what the issue was?
