Proceeding contribution from Baroness Chapman of Darlington (Labour) in the House of Commons on Tuesday, 30 November 2010. It occurred during Opposition day on School Sports Funding.
School Sports Funding
As my right hon. Friend the Member for Leigh (Andy Burnham) indicated, if the Secretary of State would like to make the Opposition an offer, perhaps we could start negotiations. To conclude, there are hundreds of Hannahs throughout the country, but their spark may remain unlit if we allow the end of school sport partnerships.
