17: After Clause 4, insert the following new Clause— ““Right to apply for amalgamation of earnings from multiple sources of employment for purposes of the earnings trigger (1) A jobholder who in any week in a tax year is employed in more than one employment and— (a) whose earnings do not exceed the weekly earnings trigger in any individual employment or self-employment in that week; and (b) whose earnings in aggregate reach or exceed the earnings trigger in any week, shall be deemed to have earnings equivalent to or exceeding the earnings trigger for the purposes of requesting voluntary enrolment into national employee savings trusts.””
