Proceeding contribution from Christopher Chope (Conservative) in the House of Commons on Thursday, 10 March 2011. It occurred during Backbench debate on Inter-Parliamentary Scrutiny (EU Foreign, Defence and Security Policy).
Inter-Parliamentary Scrutiny (EU Foreign, Defence and Security Policy)
Is not the problem with the approach being taken by my hon. Friend and his Committee that it excludes parliamentarians from non-EU European NATO countries, whose inclusion was a specific requirement laid down by the Minister for Europe, our right hon. Friend the Member for Aylesbury (Mr Lidington), when he first responded to this process?
