I am going to have to accuse the hon. Member for Argyll and Bute (Mr Reid) of cherry-picking. He has only read part of my new clause. His problem can be solved by paragraph (b) of the new section (4A) proposed in subsection (6), which requires provision for"ββthe two candidates with the most valid votes to be elected in such constituencies.ββ"
