Proceeding contribution from Ian Davidson (Labour) in the House of Commons on Tuesday, 15 March 2011. It occurred during Debate on bill and Committee of the Whole House (HC) on Scotland Bill.
Scotland Bill
The hon. Gentleman has suggested that my colleague, my hon. Friend the Member for Central Ayrshire (Mr Donohoe), should take a train to Oban. The hon. Member for Perth and North Perthshire (Pete Wishart) is so up to date with current political affairs that he is unaware that the Labour party conference is in Glasgow. I would be grateful if he would explain to us exactly how being in Oban would help my colleague to explain to his friends, meeting in Glasgow, why they should change their policy?
