Proceeding contribution from Lord Tope (Liberal Democrat) in the House of Lords on Thursday, 23 June 2011. It occurred during Committee of the Whole House (HL) and Debate on bill on Localism Bill.

Localism Bill

I am sorry to have to say that as a loyal member of the coalition, but it is my view. Amendment 98J would simply leave out ““and other””. The other amendment in my name in this grouping is identical. My purpose is not so much to press the amendment as to find out what the Government have in mind with ““and other””. What does it refer to?
