Proceeding contribution from Lord McNally (Liberal Democrat) in the House of Lords on Monday, 27 June 2011. It occurred during Debates on delegated legislation on Co-operation in Public Protection Arrangements (UK Border Agency) Order 2011.
Co-operation in Public Protection Arrangements (UK Border Agency) Order 2011
My Lords, I am mightily relieved at that unanimous support. I, too, think that it is an important order. One of the great frustrations of the criminal justice system in the past has been the working in silos. The MAPPA approach is very sensible, so it is equally sensible to extend it to the UK Border Agency. I thank noble Lords for their expressions of support. Motion agreed.
