Public Confidence in the Media and Police
Does the Prime Minister agree that in the past when the House of Commons has been faced with big issues it has had a tendency towards kneejerk over-reactions? Does he agree that newspapers are a force for good in this country and that what we want at the end of this process is criminality weeded out of the media but for nothing to impinge on a free press, free speech and holding people in authority to account?
