Sovereign Grant Bill
The guidance to the Bill suggests:"““The Crown Estate is not the sovereign's private property””." However, we know that in 1760, as the guidance states, George III"““surrendered these revenues (but not ownership of the capital assets)””." Where do we stand on the clarity of ownership?
