Proceeding contribution from Rosie Cooper (Labour) in the House of Commons on Wednesday, 7 September 2011. It occurred during Debate on bill on Health and Social Care (Re-committed) Bill.
[2nd Allocated Day]
Great play keeps being made about consultation. I do not hear any play being made about the right to be heard or a right of veto, or whatever. CCGs can ask the health and well-being boards what they think; health and well-being boards might make a recommendation, but there is no obligation for anyone to listen.
