Proceeding contribution from Paul Burstow (Liberal Democrat) in the House of Commons on Monday, 19 December 2011. It occurred during Adjournment debate on Mental Health Unit (Burton).

Mental Health Unit (Burton)

I will certainly try to ensure that the data sets that we have are robust, although the future of the Audit Commission is perhaps a moot point in tonight's debate. Let me now deal with the local situation outlined by my hon. Friend the Member for Burton and, in particular, the proposals relating to the Margaret Stanhope centre. It is important to stress that the proposals are currently the subject of public consultation, notwithstanding some of the concerns about the process that have been outlined.
