Work Programme (Wales)

I am grateful to the Secretary of State for giving way and I do not want to detain her, but I cannot let her get away with the statement that there was adequate time to discuss the part of the 2011 Act that applied to Wales. There was not—I know, because I was there for most of the debates—and many of the clauses dealing with Wales were not even discussed. If she had been there—she was not there—she would know that. The reality is that those clauses were never discussed and, frankly, her failure to hold a Welsh Grand Committee to enable us to talk about boundary changes just shows how embarrassed the Government are about their own policy.
