Proceeding contribution from Cheryl Gillan (Conservative) in the House of Commons on Thursday, 20 October 2011. It occurred during Grand Committee proceedings (HC) on Work Programme (Wales).
Work Programme (Wales)
I have been listening carefully to the right hon. Gentleman and he is wrong to caricature any Government Member as not having great concern for those who are unemployed, particularly long-term unemployed. I cannot allow him to get away with what he is saying any longer. The Government are not reducing the level of support for those with the most severe health conditions or impairments. He should be ashamed of frightening people outside this chamber with such rhetoric.
