Proceeding contribution from David Jones (Conservative) in the House of Commons on Thursday, 20 October 2011. It occurred during Grand Committee proceedings (HC) on Work Programme (Wales).
Work Programme (Wales)
The hon. Gentleman has commented on the crest above your head, Mr Havard. It is worth recording that ““labor omnia vincit”” translates, very appropriately for this debate, as work conquers all. Less felicitously, it might also be translated as labour conquers all, but I would rather avoid that particular translation.
