Proceeding contribution from Stuart Andrew (Conservative) in the House of Commons on Thursday, 20 October 2011. It occurred during Grand Committee proceedings (HC) on Work Programme (Wales).

Work Programme (Wales)

However, when the hon. Gentleman turns the argument on something so important into that sort of personalised attack, he really does miss the point. My father experienced long-term unemployment under both Governments, and I experienced long-term unemployment under the previous Labour Government. We know what it is like, and it really does not help the argument when he cheapens it in that way.
