Iran (Human Rights)
I pay tribute to my hon. Friend for securing this afternoon's debate. Canadian Senator Dallaire, a former commander of the UN mission in Rwanda, recently drew attention to the escalation of attacks on Baha'is and others in Iran, which he described as"““a slow-motion rehearsal for genocide””." Does my hon. Friend agree that such comments from such a distinguished observer of human rights are a great cause of concern, as are the issues that my hon. Friend outlines?
