Proceeding contribution from Christopher Chope (Conservative) in the House of Commons on Friday, 20 January 2012. It occurred during Debate on bill on Daylight Saving Bill.

Daylight Saving Bill

No, I am not suggesting that all. I am not suggesting that the only money to be made out of tourism is during daylight hours. Indeed, there is a lot of tourism in London in the night time economy that is very beneficial to the country's economy. I see my hon. Friend the Member for Bournemouth East (Mr Ellwood) in his place. He will know that the night time economy in Bournemouth is also flourishing and thriving. That is not dependent on having this Bill on the statute book.
