Proceeding contribution from Lord Hain (Labour) in the House of Commons on Wednesday, 8 February 2012. It occurred during Grand Committee proceedings (HC) on Agricultural Policy.

Agricultural Policy

I am certainly happy to talk to the Secretary of State about that, and it was fine going to Wrexham, but we will want to take into account the fact that the attendance here is much greater. Members have busy lives in Westminster; they may be on Select Committees or Standing Committees, so it is simply much easier to attend a Welsh Grand here. She ought to bear that in mind.
