Lords amendts:Education Bill 2001/02

Education Bill. Consideration of Lords reasons for insisting on amendments to which the Commons have disagreed. Motion that House insists on its disagreement to Lords amendment 12 but proposes an amendment to the words restored to the Bill by that disagreement. Agreed to on division (260 to 160). Amendments to words restored to the Bill by motion to disagree to Lords amendments 12 and 13 agreed to. Motion that House agrees with Lords amendment in lieu of the amendment to which the Commons have disagreed. Agreed to on division (249 to 154).
