Planning and Compulsory Purchase Bill 2002/03 then 2003/04
Planning and Compulsory Purchase Bill. Lords debate on a motion to vary the normal practice of the House when considering Commons reasons and amendments, whereby no further consideration of a Bill can take place in the event that (i) the Lords insists on an amendment; (ii) the Commons insists on its disagreement to that amendment; and (iii) neither House has offered alternative proposals; to allow the House to consider the Commons reason and amendment to the Bill. Agreed to on question. Consideration of Commons reason and amendment. Lords amendment not insisted on and Commons amendment in lieu agreed to. Remaining Lords amendment not insisted on and amendments in lieu were agreed to. Bill returned to Commons with amendments.
