My right honourable friend the Secretary of State for the Home Department (Charles Clarke) has made the following Written Ministerial Statement. I am pleased to say that Lord Carlile of Berriew QC has completed the report on the operation of Part VII of the Act in 2005, which will be laid before the House today.
