Human Tissue and Embryos Bill

My honourable friend the Minister of State (Caroline Flint) has made the following Written Ministerial Statement. The Government have today laid before Parliament in draft form the Human Tissue and Embryos Bill (Cm 7087). The Bill is the outcome of an extensive review and public consultation. It represents a major overhaul of the existing law and regulatory structures. The draft Bill will now be subject to pre-legislative scrutiny. The draft Bill has been placed in the Library.
