Finance Bill. Second reading debate. Agreed to on division (318 to 277). Ordered that Clauses 2, 5, 8, 15, 52, 64 and 91 and Schedules 1, 4, 11 and 14, and any New Clause first appearing on Order Paper not later than 19 January and designed to continue statutory effect of any of Ways and Means Resolutions of House of 13 December be committed to a Committee of the Whole House; that remainder of Bill be committed to a Standing Committee; that when provisions of the Bill considered respectively by Committee of the Whole House and by Standing Committee have been reported to House the Bill be proceeded with as if Bill had been reported as a Whole to the House from Standing Committee.
