House of Lords: Code of Conduct

Lords debate on motion that this House adopts the new Code of Conduct for Members of the House of Lords to replace the present Code of Conduct for Members of the House of Lords with effect from 1 April 2010. Amendments by Lord Stoddart of Swindon not moved. Original motion agreed to on question. (Debated with Lords debate on motion to take note of the Report of the Leader's Group on the Code of Conduct (HL 171 2008-09); and that Part 3 of the Report be remitted to the Committee for Privileges, with an instruction that it reports a Guide to the Rules on the Conduct of Members of the House of Lords to the House).
