Firebuy Ltd
A copy of the annual report and accounts of Firebuy Ltd for the financial year 2009-2010 has today been laid before Parliament. Firebuy Ltd is an Executive non-departmental public body sponsored by the Department for Communities and Local Government to help deliver procurement efficiencies for the fire and rescue service in England through nationally negotiated framework contracts with suppliers. It also has a range of contract management and technical functions. It was announced on 14 October 2010 that Firebuy would be closing in 2011 as part of Government's review of arm's length bodies.
