Military Aircraft

Question

To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, how many aircraft of each type are in service in each branch of the armed forces; and where each such aircraft is based.

Answer

The number of fixed wing and rotary aircraft in service with each branch of the Armed Forces, and where each aircraft fleet is permanently based is provided in the attached table.
