To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, if he will write to the Chief Constables of Surrey and Devon and Cornwall Police Forces to request that they place in the public domain their reports into the deaths at Deepcut barracks between 1995 and 2002; and if he will make a statement.

It would be inappropriate for me to try and influence the decisions of the Chief Constables of those Police Forces on how they handle their investigation material.
